YOU SAY SAKE. As owners of Holiday Wine & Spirits for more than 30 years, the Luckey family enjoys talking about the changes they’ve seen over the years. Liquor laws have changed. The neighbors have changed. The neighbors’ neighbors have changed. The father and son team of Grady Luckey and Grady Luckey, Jr. are appreciative of Atlanta’s evolving demographic and the impact that new faces and businesses have had on their store.  As the reins have been passed to the younger Grady Luckey, the store has become even more of a melting pot, and the Holiday assortment is now more diverse and interesting than ever. Equal parts gourmet and eclectic, Holiday shoppers can purchase craft beer in singles, try a handmade corn vodka, or develop a taste for obscure Korean liquor.

WE DON’T SELL YELLOW TAIL. HERE’S WHY. Variety is one of the many ways that Holiday Wine & Spirits is unlike other package stores. As a small store, Holiday chooses not to compete with grocers and big-box stores who purchase large quantities at discount prices. Instead, the Luckeys have built relationships with local mixologists, like Holeman & Finch’s Greg Best, and small, unique distributors to find unusual products with smaller margins. If you want Yellow Tail, you’ll find a great price at the grocery store. But, if you want to try something different, stop by for a personal recommendation that you’re guaranteed to love.  If you’re looking for a brown bag beverage to take to one of Buford Highway’s many ethnic restaurants, Holiday has the perfect complement.

TRUST US. Holiday is a small store, with plenty of staples. You’ll always find the shelves stocked with Grey Goose, Maker’s Mark, and Heineken. But, we do like to experiment, and we hope you’ll trust us to introduce you to something new from time to time.  With a range of smaller labels, our shelves are always evolving. We’ve made an art of finding emerging brands that offer great flavor at a great price. Be sure to check out our latest recommendations for the newest products and great deals.
